Inspired by a deeply personal journey, Paper Planes launched a candle line— that reflects the essence of home and the universal longing for comfort and familiarity, rooted in the story of the founder’s relocation from The Philippines to Norway in 2015.

Leaving behind her five-year-old son with folded paper planes and a promise of a brighter future. This heartfelt mission has driven their journey in creating scents that evoke the memories of home. The challenges of loved ones being separated during the COVID-19 pandemic underscored the profound sense of yearning for the familiar aromas that signify their roots.

Recognizing that many individuals experience similar feelings of nostalgia while living abroad, they embarked on a mission to craft fragrances that would encapsulate the essence of home, starting with rich Filipino scents that speak to their heritage.

As they grew more integrated into Norwegian culture, they discovered the breathtaking beauty of Norway’s landscapes—from the fresh, crisp air to the lush forests and serene fjords. Each of these elements has inspired their fragrance collection, respecting their Asian roots and Scandinavian influences.
